Situated a mile from the small fishing port and holiday town of Eyemouth, Old Linthill is a seventeenth century Scottish tower house that offers the peace of the countryside while being close to beaches, boat trips, cafes, the Berwickshire Coastal Path and other attractions.
Perfect for family holidays and reunions, golfing holidays, fishing parties, and quiet stag and hen weekends, the property is perched on a hillside in the centre of a beautiful small estate with private trout fishing on two rivers and woodland walks all around.
The house has recently been renovated and there are now five stylish bedrooms and three bathrooms giving accommodation for up to 10 guests in comfort.
There is a large sitting room with open fire, beautiful wood-panelled dining room with large dining table and a well-equipped kitchen. The house is well located for exploring the Scottish Borders, North Northumberland and East Lothian, as well local coastal attractions such as St Abbs and Coldingham.
Linthill has free Wi-fi and Sky television channels. Sleeps eight or ten: Four king-size doubles, one twin bunk bed.
One of the bedrooms is located on the ground floor and has an adjacent shower room often suits guests who prefer not to climb stairs. However it should be noted that there are around 6 steps leading up to the front door. These are wide, easy steps and have a rail at the side but we like people to be aware of them if they have mobility issues.
The rental includes all bedrooms and reception rooms in the property, which is rented out as an entire house. The garden is entirely private and not shared.
